College and University Catering
We are an approved caterer with the University of Connecticut, The UConn Foundation and Eastern Connecticut State University. Our services are available on the main and regional campuses year-round, including UConn Hartford, UConn Graduate Business Learning Center at Constitution Plaza and UConn Avery Point.
As a full service custom caterer we will manage your catering details from beginning to end. We'll create a personalized menu, handle bar services, and staffing needs. We also facilitate rentals and recommend talented vendors that we've built relationships with over the years.
There are two general types of catering services and menus offered: full service and pickup/delivery. With Full Service catering, we work you with to plan the entire event. This includes food, beverage service, staff, venue coordination, incidentals, setup and breakdown.
Alternatively, Pickup/Delivery catering works very well for business luncheons and more casual events where the client will be taking care of their own setup, serving and breakdown. Pickup/Delivery clients may also opt for our White Glove Delivery.
White Glove Delivery is our premium delivery choice and provides some of the elements of full service for just the setup portion of the event. With White Glove, we will deliver the food, unpack everything and setup the food station. We can also rent and setup linens and chafing dishes. The White Glove team will stay on hand to help with setup up to one hour.
Pricing and Booking Process
How much clients should expect to spend on catering depends on various factors, including the number of guests at your event, the time of day, the food and beverages you choose, service style, and staff you require. Pickup/delivery catering for breakfast and lunch will range from $12-$15 per guest and $15-$25 for dinner. Full service events can vary more widely. On average, our clients are working with a budget of $50 to $150 per guest for all inclusive event services.
Booking a caterer for a wedding or celebratory function is often a first time experience for many of our clients and we're very sensitive to that. Our planning process is authentic, streamlined and comfortable.
